Remote intercom door release system for emergencies
ERTKh LTE AC/DC emergency door release controller

The system is designed to automate the control of electromagnetic door locks used in audio and video intercom installations. With remote control capabilities over an LTE network, the system enables reliable, secure and convenient door release without requiring personnel to be physically present at the installation site.
  • Automatic door opening in case of emergency
  • Remote configuration via MQTT broker
  • Shockproof sealed housing
  • LTE data transmission

How the system works

Configuration
The device is configured via Bluetooth using a mobile application.
Installation
The device is mounted on the wall next to the cabinet where the power supply and the intercom controller are located.
Work
The device receives a command to automatically open/close the door from the server
Data transmission
The data is transmitted via an LTE network to remote servers or monitoring systems.

Functional requirements for the mobile application:

  1. It must be possible to change the device parameters — local configuration via Bluetooth using the mobile application.
Emergency intercom door release controller
The device is housed in a durable ABS plastic enclosure with an IP65 ingress protection rating. It features an integrated LTE antenna and supports LTE Cat.1 connectivity.

The controller is designed for straightforward wall mounting and supports two power supply options:
  • 220 V AC mains power.
  • 12–24 V DC low-voltage power supply.
Built-in LED indicators allow installers and service personnel to verify the power connection and device operating status. Automatic door opening and closing test cycles help confirm that the controller has been installed and connected correctly. When the LTE connection is successfully established, the LTE status indicator remains continuously illuminated. In the event of communication errors, the indicator flashes or switches off, allowing faults to be identified quickly. Operating parameters can be configured remotely through an MQTT broker or locally via USB.
Benefits of the automated emergency door release system
The ERTKh LTE AC/DC Emergency Door Release Controller provides reliable remote management of intercom-controlled entrance doors, improving both safety and operational convenience. LTE connectivity enables remote communication and door control without requiring personnel to be physically present at the installation site.

The system is easy to install, designed for reliable operation and enables authorized operators to control door-lock mechanisms remotely.

  • Remote control and monitoring
The controller automatically receives door release commands from a server operated by the Unified State System for Emergency Prevention and Response (RSChS) or the customer's own management platform.
    • Key Benefit: enables authorized operators to issue door release commands in real time.
  • High reliability and safety
The enclosure is manufactured from durable ABS plastic and has an IP65 ingress protection rating, providing protection against dust and water ingress. The device is designed to operate across a wide temperature range and withstand demanding environmental conditions.
    • Key Benefit: long service life and reduced maintenance costs thanks to the durable enclosure and reliable electronic design.
  • Easy installation and configuration
The device can be mounted on a wall using standard mounting hardware.
Remote configuration via an MQTT broker and local configuration through USB help simplify commissioning and maintenance.
    • Key Benefit: faster installation and commissioning with reduced setup and maintenance costs.
  • Process automation
In addition to controlling the electromagnetic door lock, the device performs internal status checks and transmits operating data to the server at configurable intervals. This enables remote monitoring of device availability and supports timely responses to emergency situations.
    • Key Benefit: faster emergency response and improved control of building access infrastructure.

Project scope and completed work:

  • Development of the controller's electronic circuit schematic.
  • Printed circuit board (PCB) design and layout.
  • Manufacturing of controller prototypes.
  • Development of embedded firmware.
  • Branding and customization of the device configuration software.
  • Production of a batch of more than 6,000 devices.
