LoRa modulation technology
ERTX-01 uses Semtech's patented LoRa spread spectrum modulation method. LoRa spreading modulation is performed by representing each bit of a data packet in multiple chips. The rate at which the data packet is transmitted directly is called the symbol rate, the ratio between the nominal modulation rate and the symbol rate per bit of information.
In LoRa mode, ERTX-01 radio module offers three bandwidth options: 125 kHz, 250 kHz and 500 kHz, with SF from 7 to 12.
The rate at which the data packet is transmitted directly is called the symbol rate, the ratio between the nominal modulation rate and the symbol rate per bit of information.
To further improve the robustness of the radio communication channel, ERTX-01 uses cyclic coding with different coding rates. This coding scheme allows for forward error detection and correction.
